The Story County Housing Trust (SCHT) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is designated by the Iowa Finance Authority as the local housing trust fund for Story County. The mission of the Story County Housing Trust is to support opportunities to provide safe and affordable housing in Story County.

Notice of Board Meeting
The public hearing is seeking public comment on the 2027 Housing Assistance Plan. An in person or virtual public hearing will be held at 2 PM on September 15th. Meeting information is listed below. The public hearing will include information on the proposed application for funding to the Iowa Finance Authority such as the proposed budget, the draft HAP, a review of the application to be submitted to IFA, the types of anticipated projects, how the anticipated funds will and should be allocated, and general discussion of the application. The SCHT Board will meet on Tuesday, September 15 at 2:00 PM. The agenda will be posted HERE prior to the meeting.
